Even as retirement age approaches, nurses may find themselves in situations where they cannot afford to retire, but they cannot tolerate the stressful environments that they're currently in either. The salary at many insurance companies can be quite lucrative and even be on the same level as the hospital registered nurse. Most insurance companies offer stellar benefit packages to the qualified nurse who works full-time, and usually offer abbreviated versions of their benefit packages to the part-time nurse as well. Registered nurses also have the option of working from home as case managers. These RN jobs are also offered by insurance companies and allow the nurse to gather client information from their own homes. This not only alleviates anxiety from the high stress hospital environment, but it promotes calmness and serenity by working in the comfort of their own homes, and through this, the RN can achieve a higher level of productivity and a renewed love of the profession. Low stress RN jobs are not difficult to find. They are available in abundance.
