Why are You Going to College? - is College Degree the Answer to Achieve Your Dream?

Starting college will require your time, money, investment of personal resources.  This is why you must know what you want and do a complete research as to  what you love to do and good at.  I've seen so many college students who have no passion in their chosen fields.  Boredorm is what they confront everyday.  If a person is going school for something they are passion about, they shouldn't be bored about it at all.  Are you going to college because of the money, families and friends expectations?  If these are the reasons, please take a break and think again because it will not be a pleasant journey in your career.  The investments and expenses, and sacrifices it takes to go to college is a major one.  Don't be like most people who never satified with their chosen fields and keep getting more and more degrees. Below will be some statistics that might alert you before going to college.     The average public university in the U.S. is about $10,000 a year today.  The average private university tuition is about $19,000  a year today.  The average pay for a teacher four years with degree is $ 27000 a year.  The average pay for an engineering degree is about   $40,000 a year.  Students drop out rate is 30%.  Of these  students who graduate with students loans is about 30%.
